Reporting to inform future activation
The City of Gold Coast engaged Grounded Consulting across a suite of projects spanning economic and tourism development, environmental strategy and place-based activation.
Work focused on combining market research with targeted engagement to inform policy, test assumptions and support evidence-based decision-making across a rapidly evolving urban context.
Projects included the Accommodation Outlook Survey and Investment Report, the Our Natural City Strategy Review and the Kurrawa Beach Club Trial.
The Accommodation Outlook Survey and Investment Report explored the performance and future needs of the accommodation sector post-COVID. Grounded designed and delivered a sector-wide survey of accommodation providers to assess market conditions, recovery trends and investment barriers.
The Our Natural City Strategy Review supported the review of a city-wide strategy balancing growth and environmental protection. Working alongside NGH, Grounded delivered focus groups, surveys and analysis to capture community and stakeholder perspectives.
The Kurrawa Beach Club Trial focused on community insight for a temporary beachfront activation trial, supporting engagement and feedback collection to understand sentiment, visitor experience and operational impacts.
