Input to EIS and SSD planning process
Anglicare Sydney engaged Grounded Consulting to lead community and stakeholder engagement for the Sandon Point Seniors Living Development at Bulli, New South Wales.
The project formed part of a broader masterplanned precinct and responded to growing demand for seniors housing in the Illawarra, including independent living and residential aged care.
Engagement was delivered by Managing Director Leona Luke alongside Senior Strategist Kirsty O’Connell as part of the State Significant Development and Environmental Impact Assessment process.
The work supported consultation across a complex stakeholder environment with strong community interest.
Grounded focused on facilitating informed participation, translating technical studies into accessible information, and supporting open dialogue with residents, government agencies and Indigenous stakeholders.
The outcome was a structured engagement program that supported the planning process, informed project refinement and ensured community and stakeholder input was meaningfully captured.
